He served as Chief Executive Officer of Bolsas y Mercados Espa\u00f1oles (BME) between 2017 and 2024, leading the company\u2019s strategic transformation and its integration with SIX Group AG. Subsequently, at SIX Group (2020\u20132024), he was a member of the Executive Committee and headed the global Securities Services unit, the group\u2019s largest division, with operations in more than 50 countries.<br \/>Throughout his career, he has driven digitalization and the development of FinTech initiatives, including the application of blockchain to post-trade processes and the incubation of new companies.<br \/>Previously, he held the positions of General Manager and Chief Financial Officer at BME, leading, among other milestones, the company\u2019s IPO in 2006.
