David Martínez

David Martinez has been the Managing Partner of Stellum Food&Tech since its inception in 2021.

Previously, he was the Managing Director of “El Diario Vasco”, the leading newsletter in Gipuzkoa, for more than 11 years. Previously, he served as Deputy Director of Vocento and CFO of “El Diario Vasco”.

Thanks to his professional background, David specialises in business transformation and has a solid ability to deal with complex challenges and diverse teams. He also has relevant experience in inorganic development and M&A at various levels.
David started his professional career in the audit division of Arthur Andersen, an area where he stayed for 7 years, building a deep knowledge of the industrial ecosystem in the Basque Country.

David holds a degree in Economics from the University of Deusto. He is also an alumnus of the San Telmo Business School’s Senior Management Programme in the Food Chain.
